Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, AI/ML, Information Technology, or a related engineering discipline is required.
  • At least 5 years of software, data, or AI engineering experience, including 2 years in cloud-native engineering and 1 year in GenAI, large language models, natural language processing, or agentic AI delivery, is required.
  • At least 7 years of software, data, or AI engineering experience, including 3 years in cloud-native architecture or engineering and 1–2 years in GenAI, large language models, natural language processing, or agentic AI delivery, is required.
  • Hands-on coding experience in Python and strong understanding of application programming interfaces, distributed systems, continuous integration and continuous delivery, testing, observability, and secure software development lifecycle practices are required.
  • Experience delivering artificial intelligence, machine learning, or data products in at least one industry domain such as banking, insurance, healthcare, retail, telecommunications, or capital markets is required.
  • Hands-on experience with Amazon Bedrock, Bedrock Agents or AgentCore, Knowledge Bases, Guardrails, Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, OpenSearch Serverless or Vector Engine, SageMaker, Identity and Access Management, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Virtual Private Cloud, Key Management Service, and S3 is required.
  • Strong understanding of large language model application architecture patterns, including retrieval-augmented generation, function or tool calling, agent orchestration, model invocation, prompt engineering, embeddings, vector databases, and evaluation metrics is required.
  • Ability to implement traditional machine learning and generative artificial intelligence components across ingestion, feature and data preparation, model integration, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement is required.
  • Practical knowledge of security, privacy, governance, performance, scalability, reliability, and cost controls for production artificial intelligence systems is required.
  • Experience with Git-based development, automated testing, continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines, infrastructure as code, and agile delivery in client-facing environments is required.
Responsibilities
  • Architect and build custom artificial intelligence infrastructure and hardware solutions.
  • Optimize artificial intelligence infrastructure and hardware performance, power consumption, cost, and scalability of the computational stack.
  • Advise on artificial intelligence infrastructure technology and vendor evaluation, selection, and full-stack integration.
  • Design and build large language model application components, including prompts, tools, agents, orchestration flows, memory and context handling, retrieval pipelines, and evaluation harnesses.
  • Design agent workflows using Bedrock and serverless Amazon Web Services patterns; integrate enterprise application programming interfaces through Lambda and API Gateway; build secure retrieval-augmented generation over S3, OpenSearch, and Knowledge Bases; and tune prompts and evaluation test suites for accuracy, relevance, faithfulness, and safety.
  • Implement data ingestion, parsing, chunking, enrichment, embeddings, vector search, and retrieval workflows for structured and unstructured enterprise content.
  • Engineer safety and control components including personally identifiable information detection and redaction, prompt-injection defenses, content filters, guardrails, authentication, authorization, lineage, and audit logging.
  • Collaborate with architects, data engineers, product owners, and security stakeholders to convert solution designs into tested, observable, and maintainable software components.
  • Maintain technical artifacts such as component designs, integration specifications, deployment runbooks, evaluation results, and reusable engineering patterns.
  • Own platform-specific engineering on Amazon Web Services by translating high-level architecture into working, production-quality components for large-language-model-driven applications, retrieval-augmented-generation pipelines, multi-agent workflows, and artificial-intelligence platform integrations.
  • Contribute code, design decisions, reusable patterns, and engineering documentation as a hands-on technical or engineering lead.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with an AWS Solutions Architect or Machine Learning Specialty certification.
  • Experience with CDK or Terraform, EKS, Bedrock model evaluation, Amazon Q, responsible artificial intelligence controls, and FinOps for generative artificial intelligence workloads.
  • Exposure to open-source frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, Haystack, MLflow, FastAPI, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with responsible artificial intelligence, model risk management, synthetic data generation, human-in-the-loop review, A/B testing, and generative artificial intelligence cost optimization.

Accenture acquires Dutch SAP partner McCoy to boost mid-market AI and ERP capabilities

Accenture has agreed to acquire McCoy, a Dutch SAP transformation partner specialising in mid-market companies. Upon closing, McCoy will join Accenture Edge, the firm's mid-market business serving companies with annual revenues between $300 million and $3 billion. Founded in 2012, McCoy operates from the Netherlands with offices in Spain and the Philippines. The company employs over 380 professionals who design, implement and manage SAP solutions across ERP, data and business applications. McCoy holds SAP Gold Partner status and serves clients in high-tech, manufacturing, public sector, utilities and retail. The acquisition will strengthen Accenture Edge's position in the EMEA mid-market whilst expanding SAP modernisation capabilities in the Netherlands. The deal is subject to regulatory approvals.
