Requirements
  • 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain understanding of issuer, acquirer and merchant economics to provide foundational context for pricing activities
  • Develop monetization strategies, commercial and pricing structures in alignment with Go to Market, Global Pricing and Finance teams
  • Review market trends and benchmarks to ensure Visa's pricing for BNPL products is competitive. Work with regional counterparts to customize pricing based on market specific requirements
  • Communicate and build support for recommendations across business leaders in the organization. Get approvals from Visa's internal committees for pricing decisions and updates
  • Build and manage processes for ongoing pricing governance in partnership with Operations
  • Determine opportunities to enhance pricing structures, work with Product Development to scope and implement required capabilities
  • Distill and disseminate monetization strategy, pricing information and insights to internal/external stakeholders by creating and delivering effective presentations
  • Manage and oversee monetization efforts for BNPL - across new solution pricing, client deals and portfolio intervention strategies and contracting with partners/clients
Desired Qualifications
  • 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD
  • Background in payments and/or management consulting
  • Understanding of card economics. Experience in financial modeling, pricing and commercialization
  • Track record in developing rigorous, fact based, quantitative analysis to support strategic recommendations
  • Strong analytical, quantitative and critical thinking skill, strong bias towards ,data-based decision making
  • Demonstrated thought leadership and the aptitude to think creatively and identify new ways to innovate
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to effectively work cross-organizationally
  • Experience working in global settings and international teams coupled with awareness of market differences and commonalities
