Responsibilities
  • Develop annual budgets with Department Heads and management.
  • Monitor actual performance against budgets and implement necessary adjustments.
  • Prepare accurate monthly forecasts and financial projections.
  • Identify financial risks related to achieving objectives and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain profitability levels aligned with budget expectations and strategic objectives.
  • Balance short-term financial performance with long-term financial sustainability.
  • Supervise accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely billing, collections, and payments.
  • Manage payment collections and ensure the timely settlement of Accor Group charges.
  • Manage invoice processing, verification, and approval workflows.
  • Ensure timely settlement of all financial obligations to maintain operational continuity.
  • Complete all tax filings on time, including VAT, taxes, and tax packages.
  • Manage the monthly closing process, providing statistics by two business days and the income statement by four business days, in collaboration with the external accounting firm.
  • Supervise daily banking operations and cash management.
  • Process and control petty-cash transactions according to company procedures.
  • Reconcile payments, bank accounts, and departmental financial documents.
  • Reconcile all balance-sheet accounts.
  • Implement and ensure compliance with internal and Accor Group procedures.
  • Maintain a strong internal-control framework and ensure compliance with applicable policies and regulations.
  • Liaise with external accounting providers, statutory auditors, and financial partners as needed.
  • Liaise with internal auditors to safeguard the integrity of policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and control operating costs across departments.
  • Manage payroll costs and support workforce planning from a financial perspective.
  • Support Department Heads in managing their budgets and improving financial performance.
  • Actively monitor inventory levels and cost efficiency.
  • Supervise and validate physical inventories and inventory valuations.
  • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support decision-making.
  • Ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and compliance of financial reporting.
  • Manage and apply the international USALI 12 reporting standard.
  • Meet reporting deadlines using company-approved tools and systems.
  • Produce management reports, variance analyses, and financial statements.
  • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data in information systems.
  • Work closely with commercial and revenue-management leaders to optimize revenue strategy.
  • Collaborate with the Hotel Director and Accor management to align financial strategy and objectives.
  • Contribute to strategic planning, investment decisions, and performance reviews.
  • Participate actively in decision-making within the hotel leadership team.
  • Lead, support, and develop the Finance team to ensure high performance and engagement.
  • Promote accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
  • Participate actively in the hotel's general management functions beyond Finance.
  • Support cross-departmental collaboration and organizational initiatives.
  • Ensure the team completes required regulatory and professional training.
  • Promote financial decisions that support exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with operational leaders to balance cost efficiency and service excellence.
  • Understand and support the relationship between financial strategy and customer experience.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial, legal, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation and controls.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits.
  • Support the hotel's health, safety, and risk-management standards.
  • Participate in the opening of the first Emblems Collection property in France.
  • Develop close collaboration with another Maison property to promote synergies, knowledge sharing, talent development, and joint projects as needed.
