Position Overview
JD Logistics is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Warehouse Operations to lead our U.S. warehousing strategy and operations. This role is critical to ensuring the efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of our fulfillment network in the U.S. market.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the strategic vision for JD Logistics’ warehouse operations in the U.S., ensuring alignment with business growth objectives and customer satisfaction goals.
• Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, inbound and outbound logistics, and facility management.
• Implement and maintain best practices for warehouse processes, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping, to ensure operational excellence and high productivity.
• Leverage advanced warehouse management systems (WMS) and automation technologies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve accuracy.
• Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational efficiency, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to warehouse operations, including safety and labor laws.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including transportation, supply chain, and customer service, to ensure seamless end-to-end logistics.
• Drive initiatives to optimize warehouse layout, resource allocation, and labor management, ensuring scalability and cost control.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of warehouse managers and staff, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree or professional certifications like Six Sigma, APICS, or Lean preferred).
• Over 10 years of experience in warehouse operations management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role overseeing large-scale, high-volume facilities.
• Proven expertise in warehouse automation, robotics, and advanced warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of optimizing warehouse layouts, workflows, and labor efficiency.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, control costs, and drive operational improvements in a high-growth environment.
• Deep knowledge of safety standards, labor laws, and compliance requirements in the U.S.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and inspire diverse teams across multiple locations.
• Experience in managing third-party logistics (3PL) providers and building partnerships with key stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the e-commerce or retail sectors, managing warehouses with complex product categories and high throughput.
• Familiarity with sustainability initiatives, including energy-efficient warehousing and waste reduction practices.
• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese is a strong plus, alongside proficiency in English.
• Hands-on experience with real-time data analytics, IoT, and AI-driven warehouse optimization tools.
