Job requirements
The VP of Revenue Operations (RevOps) at Aptia leads alignment and efficiency across sales, marketing, operations, and client success functions. This leader develops and systematically executes revenue operations’ strategies that optimize performance and support Aptia’s growth objectives. VP of RevOps translates business strategies into data-driven plans, leveraging GTM technology and cross-functional collaboration. Additionally, the VP of RevOps leads and develops the revenue operations team, implements compensation and territory
models to maximize sales potential, defines and implements sales enablement and talent development strategies to improve productivity, and ensures operational agility through expert analytical acumen, and a growth mindset.
What you’ll be doing
Develop and consistently implement GTM strategies that align with Aptia’s business objectives, ensuring sales, marketing, operations, and customer success teams are fully supported in driving revenue growth.
Lead the analysis, executive-level reporting, and forecasting of revenue-related data to provide actionable insights that inform
decision-making across sales, marketing, and product management. Drive continuous improvement by identifying areas for optimization.
Collaborate cross-functionally with leaders and stakeholders in GTM, as well as Technology, Data, Product, and Finance to ensure
alignment and execution of strategic revenue initiatives.
Create business strategies and translate them into practical plans for revenue operations teams, ensuring that goals are
actionable and results-driven across the organization.
Influence and motivate teams to embrace Aptia’s revenue strategies, acting as a transformational change leader to drive alignment
and performance.
Lead implementation of sales enablement and talent development strategies to equip sellers with the tools, content, and training
needed to upskill capabilities and sell more effectively
Oversee the implementation and management of CRM and GTM technology platforms (e.g., Dynamics), optimizing tools and
processes to drive efficiency in sales execution and customer engagement.
Lead, coach, and mentor the revenue operations team, fostering a growth mindset and creating a culture of continuous learning and
improvement to attract, develop, and retain top talent.
Implement compensation and territory models that maximize sales potential while ensuring fairness and motivation for sales teams.
Adapt to evolving business needs, maintaining agility and effectiveness in driving revenue operations through unpredictable market conditions and internal changes.
What we’re looking for
7+ years of revenue ops/sales/strategy management experience in Benefits Administration, or 10+ years of successful revenue ops experience and 5+ years of management experience across the commercial lifecycle (e.g., sales and customer success)
Success leading strategic initiatives through to completion across a growing revenue operations portfolio. Ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders across GTM, Technology, Data, Deal Desk, Product, and Finance.
Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Dynamics, Salesforce) and sales execution tech.
Experience in private equity and/or PE portfolio companies, ideally in preparing for liquidations or significant financial events.
Experience building and leading a high-performing team that attracts, develops, motivates, and retains team members.
Experience implementing compensation and territory models.
Team player who is able to operate at an executive level, as well as roll up their sleeves and work on day-to-day operations
