One of ICF’s government clients is seeking an experienced and detailed oriented project manager to support and facilitate the successful completion of various office automation projects (currently using the ServiceNow platform). The ability to influence and develop consensus across teams is critical to be successful in this role. Communications to keep stakeholders informed the entire way are vital.
Pre-pandemic, this position required onsite presence at our client location in Bethesda, Maryland. However, currently, there is the option for hybrid/remote work. The preference is for DMV local candidates as periodic in-office presence may be required.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze project management needs and tailor industry best practices to suit environment.
Assist in the definition of automation project scope and objectives, involving all relevant partners and ensuring technical feasibility.
Work with cross-functional teams with diverse technical skill sets to support successful performance across operations and projects.
Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with a diverse group of staff members, stakeholders, and customers.
Update Project Dashboards on a recurring basis.
Participate in meetings; follow up on direction, action items, questions, documentation, etc.
Develop and maintain both programmatic and technical documentation.
Basic Qualifications
7 years of project management experience
Preferred Skills/Experience
Masters degree is preferred
PMP certification is preferred
Experience with ServiceNow preferred
Professional Skills:
Knowledge of project management processes, such as Scrum and Agile
Experience managing Enterprise IT (Desktop), ITIL, Information Assurance, and Process Improvement projects.
Solid understanding of and demonstrated hands-on experience with Microsoft Project, Visio, Office Suite, and SharePoint.
Leadership qualities, such as motivation techniques and conflict-management
Highly organized and ability to work in a fast-paced business environment with special requests
Exceptional collaboration and consensus building skills.
Self-starter and quick learner with lots of initiative and ability to work independently.
Experience developing Project Charters and MS Project Plans.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating attention to detail, and strong customer-facing skills.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:
$95,776.00 - $162,819.00Maryland Client Office (MD88)
