Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field preferred; combination of education and experience acceptable.
  • 2-5 years Inside Sales or Customer Service experience preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office required.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel preferred.
  • Experience working within commercial customer base preferred.
  • Some domestic travel may be required -- up to 10% time.
  • Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce.
Responsibilities
  • Provide timely response to customer inquiries on product pricing, lead time, and order status.
  • Act as liaison between factory and Sales.
  • Serve as initial point of contact to resolve customer issues.
  • Data entry in ERP, customer portals, customer data bases, quotation, and sales history data files.
  • Update and maintain Distribution and Manufacture Representatives agreement.
  • Maintain and organize price lists.
  • Review new purchase orders against quote for accuracy, terms and conditions etc.
  • As appropriate, coordinate with Global Trade Compliance lead on export matters and licensing requirements.
  • Manage new customer set-up process.
  • Manage assigned accounts by understanding customer needs, offering the “best solution” and continuous following up.
  • Maintain and organize customer NDAs and contracts as required.
  • Maintain service contracts by managing contract tenure, renewal, spares consumed, support hours log etc.
  • Support with marketing tasks, as needed.
