Requirements
  • Completion of a Ph.D. in either Accounting or Information Systems, or a closely related field, is required.
  • Candidates for Assistant Professor should expect to complete their Ph.D. in the near future.
  • Candidates for Assistant Professor must demonstrate the potential for outstanding achievement in research and teaching.
  • Candidates for Associate Professor or Professor must have evidence of publications in top-tier outlets and mentoring of Ph.D. students.
  • Candidates for Associate Professor or Professor must have a minimum of five years of experience in a tenured or tenure-track position at a business school accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business or International Accreditation Council for Business Education.
  • Candidates must demonstrate significant Artificial Intelligence expertise as a core element of their scholarship.

  • Create and deliver effective course materials.

  • Collaborate effectively with fellow instructors.
  • Provide effective service to the Department, College and/or University, and the greater academic and business community.
  • Develop, advance, or rigorously evaluate Artificial Intelligence methods.
  • Lead Artificial Intelligence-centered applications that produce generalizable methodological advances, such as new algorithms, models, evaluation frameworks, datasets or benchmarks, or system designs.
  • Design or adapt Artificial Intelligence approaches to solve previously intractable questions in a domain and produce generalizable insights or advancements.
