We are looking for a highly experienced and strategic leader to join VML Health as a Group Account Supervisor. What You’ll Do:
- Lead and manage multiple account teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Provide strategic direction and oversight for all aspects of client accounts, ensuring scientific integrity and executional excellence.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and partner.
- Drive organic account growth by identifying and developing new business opportunities.
- Oversee project execution, ensuring deliverables are on time, within budget, and of the highest quality.
- Mentor and develop junior team members, providing guidance and support for career growth.
- Manage account financials, developing realistic forecasts and ensuring profitability.
- Collaborate with internal teams (scientific, editorial, creative) to deliver integrated solutions.
- Champion breakthrough creative and innovative program development.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and therapeutic market dynamics, providing strategic insights to clients.
- Lead and participate in new business pitches.
- Foster a positive and inclusive team culture, embodying VML’s core values.
Who You Are:
- A results-oriented leader with exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- A strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the medical education and communications landscape.
- A collaborative team player with a passion for mentoring and developing talent.
- Able to exercise sound judgment, manage time effectively, and navigate complex situations.
- Possessing a strong professional work ethic and a commitment to client success.
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree (biology or communications preferred, but not required). Advanced degrees in business administration and/or science are welcome.
- 5+ years of experience as a Senior Account Manager in medical communications, with at least 2-3 years specifically in medical education.
- Demonstrated experience in leading teams, managing client relationships, and developing new business.
- Working knowledge of promotional and CME activities.
- Experience managing a variety of medical education programs.

The base salary range for this position at the time of this posting is indicated below. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
