Requirements
  • A Master's degree in Occupational Therapy is required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience with a major in Occupational Therapy.
  • The degree must be granted by an accredited institution.
  • The occupational therapist must meet the educational and/or certification requirements established for the profession and hold the required occupational therapy license or certification.
Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat patients in accordance with the laws and rules governing occupational therapy practice in Ohio.
  • Serve patients in general medicine and general surgery, burn care, observation and emergency department units, postpartum, critical care, ortho-trauma, geriatrics, and long-term care.
  • Participate in patient care activities with other rehabilitation team members and care participants.
  • Supervise applicable personnel as part of the team's patient care responsibilities.
