Requirements
  • At least 2 years of business-to-business software-as-a-service sales experience, ideally with exposure to developer tools, security, artificial intelligence infrastructure, or compliance and governance technology.
  • Demonstrated success in both outbound prospecting and closing new business in a competitive market.
  • Ability to sell to technical audiences and hold credible conversations with security teams or vice presidents of engineering.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to make complex technology approachable and valuable.
  • A consultative sales approach focused on long-term customer value rather than transaction velocity.
  • Comfort operating in an early-stage, category-creation environment where the sales playbook is still being developed.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, HubSpot, SalesLoft, or similar customer relationship management and sales engagement platforms.
  • Self-starter with high accountability, a growth mindset, and genuine curiosity about artificial intelligence.
Responsibilities
  • Identify and engage key decision-makers at target accounts, including vice presidents of artificial intelligence, chief technology officers, IT operations leaders, and chief information security officers, through outbound outreach such as cold calling, email, and LinkedIn.
  • Qualify inbound leads and move them quickly into active sales conversations.
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline through strategic prospecting, focusing on companies with 200 to 1,000 employees and active artificial intelligence initiatives.
  • Identify expansion opportunities within the existing Usercentrics customer base where artificial intelligence agent adoption creates a natural opportunity for MCP Manager.
  • Collaborate with Marketing on campaign follow-up and lead handoff.
  • Own the complete sales process, including discovery, demonstration, proposal, security evaluation, negotiation, and close.
  • Deliver compelling, technically credible product demonstrations tailored to each prospect’s artificial intelligence stack and governance challenges.
  • Create technically accurate customer solution-plan documents that connect customer goals to MCP Manager capabilities and results.
  • Confirm compatibility between a prospect’s stated Model Context Protocol ecosystem and MCP Manager by testing connectivity and functionality before customer demonstrations and trials, escalating issues to the MCP Manager product and engineering team as necessary.
  • Navigate multi-stakeholder deals involving economic buyers, technical evaluators, and security and compliance gatekeepers.
  • Build trusted relationships with artificial intelligence leads, engineering managers, IT and security teams, and compliance officers within target organizations.
  • Communicate the System and Organization Controls 2 readiness timeline and security documentation to keep deals progressing through vendor due diligence and security reviews.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasting and maintain customer relationship management data hygiene.
  • Serve as the market’s voice to the product team by capturing objections, feature requests, competitive intelligence, and buyer signals from every conversation and logging them in the MCP Manager feedback database.
  • Collaborate regularly with the product team to prioritize customer needs and integrate customer feedback into MCP Manager product plans.
  • Work closely with Customer Success to ensure smooth onboarding and early customer health.
  • Develop sales collateral, battlecards, objection-handling guides, and technical materials as the MCP Manager playbook matures.
Desired Qualifications
  • Exposure to developer tools, security, artificial intelligence infrastructure, or compliance and governance technology.
