Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in a housekeeping executive or similar supervisory capacity within a hospitality or corporate environment.
  • Proven expertise in team management, staff supervision, and performance evaluation.
  • Strong knowledge of housekeeping standards, protocols, and quality assurance procedures.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate expectations clearly.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in record-keeping, documentation, and data management.
  • Comprehensive understanding of fire and life safety procedures and emergency protocols.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to work flexible hours, including shifts as required.
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment safety, and proper handling procedures.
  • Customer service orientation with a commitment to guest satisfaction and experience.
  • Leadership capabilities with the ability to motivate and support team members in a resilient and goal-oriented manner.
Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage the housekeeping team, conduct daily briefings and performance assessments, and provide constructive feedback to drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure guest rooms, balconies, corridors, linen rooms, and pantries meet established cleanliness and quality standards through regular inspections and corrective actions.
  • Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of public areas, equipment, and facilities while maintaining organized systems and efficient workflows.
  • Respond to guest requests, including room replenishment, issue resolution, and special accommodations.
  • Maintain accurate records, including section floor reports, room status documentation, and incident reports.
  • Conduct room inspections, identify maintenance issues, and report unusual activities to the Housekeeping Manager.
  • Apply knowledge of hotel fire and life safety procedures and emergency protocols, and ensure team compliance with safety regulations.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues across departments.
  • Attend assigned briefings, meetings, and training sessions.
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance, hygiene, and professional conduct while serving as a role model for the team.
Desired Qualifications
  • Proficiency in relevant housekeeping management software or systems.
  • Certification in hospitality management or housekeeping operations.
