Job Description

We're looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Executive to join our dynamic team in Mumbai, India. In this pivotal role, you'll lead our housekeeping operations with enthusiasm and precision, ensuring exceptional cleanliness standards while fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment. As a Housekeeping Executive, you'll be the driving force behind maintaining our facility's pristine condition and delivering outstanding guest experiences through meticulous attention to detail and efficient team management.

• Supervise and manage the housekeeping team with professionalism and empathy, conducting daily briefings, performance assessments, and providing constructive feedback to drive continuous improvement
• Ensure all guest rooms, balconies, corridors, linen rooms, and pantries meet established cleanliness and quality standards through regular inspections and decisive corrective actions
• Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of public areas, equipment, and facilities, maintaining organized systems and efficient workflows
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests, including room replenishment, issue resolution, and special accommodations, demonstrating exceptional customer focus
• Maintain accurate and organized records, including section floor reports, room status documentation, and incident reports, ensuring transparency and accountability
• Conduct thorough room inspections, identify maintenance issues, and report unusual activities to the Housekeeping Manager with analytical precision
• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of hotel fire and life safety procedures, emergency protocols, and ensure team compliance with all safety regulations
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues across departments, promoting an inclusive and collaborative workplace culture
• Attend all assigned briefings, meetings, and training sessions, staying current with industry best practices and organizational policies
• Maintain the highest standards of personal appearance, hygiene, and professional conduct, serving as a role model for the team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a housekeeping executive or similar supervisory capacity within a hospitality or corporate environment
• Proven expertise in team management, staff supervision, and performance evaluation
• Strong knowledge of housekeeping standards, protocols, and quality assurance procedures
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate expectations clearly
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking skills
• Proficiency in record-keeping, documentation, and data management
• Comprehensive understanding of fire and life safety procedures and emergency protocols
• Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently
• Physical stamina and ability to work flexible hours, including shifts as required
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment safety, and proper handling procedures
• Customer service orientation with a commitment to guest satisfaction and experience
• Leadership capabilities with the ability to motivate and support team members in a resilient and goal-oriented manner
• Proficiency in relevant housekeeping management software or systems (preferred)
• Certification in hospitality management or housekeeping operations (preferred)
