Requirements
  • A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
  • Prior coursework or on-the-job training in dentistry, insurance, or business is preferred.
  • The ability to execute operational processes and use computers proficiently is required.
  • Financial acumen, including understanding profit drivers, using metrics to manage, and understanding local market drivers and competition, is required.
  • The ability to maintain strict confidentiality of team member records, patient records, compensation information, and other private data is required.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team, multitask effectively, communicate orally and in writing, and work in a fast-paced environment is required.
Responsibilities
  • Assist the Operations Manager in achieving financial performance and revenue growth for assigned locations.
  • Support execution of the PDS Operational Model, Perfect Patient Experience, and Patients for Life strategy.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to achieve individual and team success in the Operations Manager’s absence.
  • Supervise front-office team members.
  • Model company culture, values, standards, and operational best practices based on the We Believe Behavioral Framework.
  • Act as manager of the supported practice in the Operations Manager’s absence.
  • Plan and prepare work schedules and assign team members to specific duties.
  • Help team members develop successful patient communication skills and facilitate learning.
  • Create team focus on executing the Owner Dentists Clinical Culture to support the Perfect Patient Experience.
  • Assist in driving year-over-year revenue and profit growth.
  • Ensure adherence to cash management and accounting protocols.
  • Provide feedback on tactics that affect financial and patient outcomes so the broader organization can benefit.
  • Ensure the office follows PDS standards for facility cleanliness and maintenance.
  • Lead and participate in daily huddles and other required meetings.
  • Make decisions consistent with the PDS Brand framework while stewarding the PDS Brand.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in executing PDS processes, systems, and tools, and contribute to their improvement.
  • Catalyze execution of the Perfect Patient Experience and HC Handoff to gain Patients for Life.
  • Support clinician education and referrals regarding the Mouth-Body Connection.
  • Maintain professional appearance and demeanor in accordance with company policies and address others professionally and respectfully.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and state, federal, and other regulatory requirements.
