AssistIQ provides a SaaS platform for hospital supply chain management, focusing on surgical and procedural supplies. Its AI-powered system uses computer vision via a tablet camera (AIQ Capture) to identify supplies at the point of use, replacing manual barcode scans and paper logs, and it leverages the AIQ Supply Cloud database of over four million products for real-time consumption data. The platform integrates with existing hospital systems such as EHRs (like Epic) and ERPs to deliver actionable data to clinical, financial, and supply chain teams, helping to improve charge capture and reduce waste. The company differentiates itself with a clinician-led origin, a high recognition rate, and strong data integration to lower disposable-supply costs and boost perioperative efficiency across North America.

Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • Allina Health reported 99%+ capture accuracy across 3,000 cases by February 2026.
  • Allina saw 32% higher billed amounts in EP and 171% higher in Cath Lab.
  • Owensboro Health and Northwell Health validate multi-hospital demand beyond Montreal.

What critics are saying

  • Mobile Aspects and Epic already own hospital workflow entry points today.
  • Hospitals face lengthy implementations across OR, Cath Lab, and enterprise systems.
  • If Allina or Northwell stalls, AssistIQ loses proof for North American scaling.

What makes AssistIQ unique

  • AIQ Capture integrates with Epic, Workday, and HL7 workflows in real time.
  • Allina Health expanded AssistIQ across 100+ rooms by September 2025.
  • Battery Ventures joined the board after leading the $11.5 million Series A.
