Requirements
  • Experience within Property & Liability underwriting is essential
  • Excellent communication, listening, time management and negotiating skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a large complex organisation.
  • CII qualifications or working towards . Good knowledge of the FCA rules and other relevant regulation and legislation
  • Ability to analyse risks, communicate and present effectively to brokers and/or customers.
  • Be visible in the local market with our brokers and customers.
Responsibilities
  • Accountable for day to day underwriting activities
  • Using data insights to ensure we are providing whole customer solutions
  • Dealing end to end with brokers and customers
  • Collaborating with the team to support both the lead trading underwriter and underwriting leader in delivering great outcomes for our customers
  • Responsible for your own book of business and meet set targets and key performance indicators.
