Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience, at a top tier investment bank, private equity firm, corporate development team at a publicly traded company, or Transaction Services group at a top tier consulting firm.
  • Ability to work independently to own an M&A deal end-to-end, including negotiating directly with business owners and managing a diligence process.
  • Ability to conduct rigorous financial and operational due diligence on Target companies.
  • Ability to manage third party diligence providers through project inception to purchase agreement negotiations.
  • Superior analytical skills, deal structuring & business valuation capabilities.
  • Track record of owning negotiations as part of a corporate development team.
  • Demonstrated ability to own a deal process and project-manage cross-functionally across a broad set of internal stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in merger, stock and asset agreement terms and negotiations.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
Responsibilities
  • Work with our executive team and business partners to acquire high quality companies.
  • Manage acquisitions from sourcing to negotiation and deal execution, through to the integration phase.
  • Work across several lines of business from brokerage to services such as title & escrow, mortgage, and beyond.
  • Work on strategy-related projects for our executive team.
