Northrop Grumman, Defense Systems, is seeking a Configuration Analyst in Huntsville, AL.

The Configuration Analyst:

· Analyzes proposed changes of product design to determine effect on overall product and system.

· Coordinates modification records for management control and conduct change control boards (CCB).

· Establishes change orders and prepares for change authorization and documentation by company and subcontractor.

· Reviews and analyzes released engineering change data and coordinates changes with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and engineering data control activities.

· Performs Functional Configuration Audits (FCA) and Physical Configuration Audits (PCA)

· Interprets engineering changes and understands Change Control Board process

· Reviews contract to determine documentation required for each phase of project, applying knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes.

Basic Qualifications:

- Configuration Analyst-Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of experience, Master’s degree and 0 years of experience, or additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree

- Principal Configuration Analyst- Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of experience, Master’s degree and 4 years of experience, or additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree

- Secret Clearance

- Experience with development of CM processes and Plans

- Hardware CM Experience

- Software Configuration Management Experience

Preferred Qualifications:

- Knowledge of Government standards for data security such as markings, handling of classified and unclassified information, and how to handle the distribution of this information

- Experience in CM Tools (e.g., Atlassian, SharePoint etc.)

- Understanding of Data Management process and relationship to CDRLs and Data Rights

- Possess excellent organization and verbal and written communication skills.

Salary Range: $68,800.00 - $103,200.00Salary Range 2: $84,600.00 - $127,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate’s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
