Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and accruals
  • Minimum three years of direct experience with accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger journal entries and reconciliations
  • Recent proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, with intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • Proficiency with NetSuite. Experience with FloQast or Blackline, Ramp and Boomi is a plus
  • Customer service orientation, tact and negotiation skills
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proactive, self-motivated, takes initiative and ability to work with little supervision
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to exercise professional skepticism and work independently
  • Organized and excellent follow-through
  • Resourcefulness and flexibility to adapt to changing needs/priorities
  • Experience preparing flux analysis and financial statements preferred
  • Mfg./electrification industry experience a plus
  • Public accounting experience preferred
  • CPA (or pursuing) preferred
Responsibilities
  • Monthly, quarterly and annual accounting close entries and reconciliations for various general ledger accounts
  • Propose accounting procedures and processes to increase quality and speed of closing activities
  • Review daily treasury activity
  • Review and analyze monthly financial statements and flux analysis
  • Assist in preparation and reporting of financial results to the executive leadership team
  • Assist with investor and compliance reporting
  • Assist with Income Tax and Sales Tax filing and reporting
  • Run the regular accounting team stand-up and close meetings
  • Support sales and sales operations teams with processing customer credits and billings
  • Oversee the customer rebate process
  • Manage the customer collections process
  • Support the annual financial statement and bank audit processes
