  • 6-10 years' experience working in communications departments, agencies, government, or news media outlets
  • Exceptional writing, research, and editing skills as well as the maturity to be edited and take direction from senior leadership. Celerity and accuracy are highly valued
  • Comfort and confidence when talking with reporters, a sophisticated understanding of the rules of engagement, and the ability to cultivate strong relationships with reporters
  • Experience managing up to C-Suite executives and working with or within companies with complex strategic needs
  • Critical and strategic thinking skills necessary to arrive at recommendations for particular inquiries or stories and fashion media statements that will advance the Firm's narrative externally
  • Demonstrated ability to suggest, lead, and see projects through to completion while managing competing priorities
  • Commitment to the highest ethical standards
  • An open mind, positive attitude, and the dedication to always be better
  • A Bachelor's degree
  • Based in either the Stamford, CT or New York, NY office
  • The Foundation currently operates a hybrid-remote work model, providing employees the flexibility to work from home two days per week
  • Manage the day-to-day public relations and communications needs of the Foundation
  • Assist the President and Executive Director in planning and executing media strategy and in managing and expanding media relationships
  • Write and produce press releases, op-eds, thought leadership pieces, and other public-facing documents
  • Support the Foundations social/digital strategy
  • Apply your craft to a wide variety of Communications projects ranging from drafting and editing internal communications to planning events and anything in between
  • Support communications opportunities related to Point72's Community Matters team in partnership with the Firm's Corporate Communications team
  • Join a small, collaborative team where no task is too small and a knack for wearing many hats is required
