- Ability to adhere to all safety standards and protocols and meet project deadlines and commitments.
- Design and develop industrial supervisory control and data acquisition systems from concept through deployment.
- Configure and program platforms such as Ignition, FactoryTalk, Wonderware, or similar.
- Develop intuitive, user-friendly human-machine interfaces for plant operators.
- Integrate supervisory control and data acquisition systems with programmable logic controllers and remote terminal units, including Allen-Bradley and Modbus systems.
- Configure and troubleshoot industrial communication protocols including EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP/RTU, OPC, and DNP3.
- Develop and maintain data historians, trending tools, and reporting systems.
- Design and optimize alarm management systems to ensure clarity and usability.
- Architect and troubleshoot supervisory control and data acquisition networks and system infrastructure.
- Commission systems onsite and ensure proper operation under real-world conditions.
- Diagnose and resolve issues across supervisory control and data acquisition systems, programmable logic controllers, and industrial networks.
- Support system upgrades, expansions, and continuous improvements.
- Maintain accurate, organized, and comprehensive technical documentation.
- Deliver systems that are reliable, functional, and maintainable.
- Produce clear and accurate documentation.
- Five to ten years of programmable logic controller / human-machine interface programming experience.
- One to three years of supervisory control and data acquisition programming experience.
- One to two years of AutoCAD drafting experience.
- Experience in industrial sectors such as manufacturing, food processing, or oil and gas.
- A bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent practical experience will be considered.
