Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field is required.
  • At least 5 years of experience in IT or software engineering, including machine learning development, is required.
  • At least 5 years of programming experience in Python, C++, or C# is required.
  • At least 3 years of experience with machine learning techniques and their practical applications is required.
  • At least 3 years of experience in software engineering and system architecture is required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills focused on IT product development are required.
  • Strong analytical thinking and experience working with complex datasets are required.
  • The ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders is required.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to translate technical concepts into business insights are required.
  • Willingness to travel is required.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze business-critical data and processes to identify improvement opportunities and recommend solutions.
  • Perform advanced analytics on complex datasets, optimization problems, and system designs.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness, quality, and reliability of data sources and data collection methods.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging data to drive business outcomes.
  • Partner with internal and external teams to explore innovation opportunities and transition them into prototype and industrialized solutions.
  • Design, develop, and implement custom data models, algorithms, and machine learning solutions.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deploy and scale solutions.
  • Act as an internal consultant, supporting developers and engineers across all phases of the product lifecycle.
  • Provide guidance on emerging technologies and support team development through mentoring and on-the-job training.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical and non-technical documentation.
  • Communicate requirements, progress, and results to stakeholders with varying levels of technical expertise.
  • Support additional tasks as required by leadership.
  • Perform work in office, laboratory, manufacturing floor, or machine shop settings, including sitting, standing, reaching, kneeling, bending, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
Desired Qualifications
  • A master's or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics/Statistics, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in process or project management, including relevant certifications, is preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of emerging technologies and innovation frameworks is preferred.
  • Experience transitioning prototypes into scalable, production-ready solutions is preferred.
  • The ability to mentor and train team members on technical and process-related topics is preferred.
  • Familiarity with end-to-end product lifecycle development is preferred.
