Requirements
  • Must be comfortable traveling to assigned worksite and follow health and safety measures.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
  • Demonstrate planning/organizational skills; ability to work on multiple issues at once and to prioritize work.
  • 1-2 years of health insurance industry or relevant experience.
  • Knowledge and experience in managed care and/or sales such as: product/process/systems knowledge, account management, healthcare RFPs, and knowledge of administrative operations.
  • Presentation skills with the ability to modify communication delivery based on audience.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to develop strong relationships internally and externally.
  • Florida Health, Life and Variable Annuity Insurance License, as required by state law (May be obtained in 120 days of hire date).
  • High School diploma or G.E.D.
  • Associates degree preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Supports client retention by providing issue resolution and information to existing accounts throughout the life of the account.
  • Works independently to solve problems and resolve issues for existing business.
  • Customer facing position for building strong relationships with plan sponsors and members.
  • Handling member inquiries including customer service issue, benefits, and policy administration.
  • Serve as subject matter expert for benefits, policies and process and claims resolution.
  • Oversight for plan sponsor eligibility, utilization management and claims reporting.
  • Travel to multiple plan sponsor locations.
  • Conduct open enrollment meetings, participate in employee health fairs, as well as community or plan sponsor events.
