Wealth Enhancement Group is a fast-growing, national wealth management firm dedicated to simplifying our clients’ financial lives. The Event Marketing Manager plays a key role in our firm’s growth by managing and developing event programs that support the new client acquisition goals of Marketing and Partner Programs teams. They will be responsible for identifying and implementing best practices that ensure continual channel optimization. And they will provide proactive and regular result reporting and campaign communication to company leadership, the Growth team and financial advisors.
The ideal candidate for this role should have superior organizational skills, strong interpersonal skills, and be a process-oriented driver. They should be comfortable with a highly collaborative approach and able to work well in matrixed teams. This role can be performed remotely.
The salary target for this role is $95,000.00 - $105,000.00. This position is eligible for an annual bonus.

Primary Job Functions
Drive client acquisition event programs
Manage campaign conception and implementation of event planning for educational seminars, tradeshows, conferences, networking and hospitality events.
Assist in developing the annual marketing plan and goals and monitoring campaigns against those goals.
Cultivate relationships with external partners to maximize team productivity.
Foster growth of fact-based event programs with repeatable processes
Identify and implement event best practices.
Hone results reporting schedule and format to ensure results are regularly monitored and communicated.
Partner with Analytics to further develop accurate and relevant results reporting.
Enact process improvements to increase event team productivity.
Partner across Growth to ensure optimal event performance
Collaborate and drive strong relationships with key contributors.
Regularly communicate with New Client Team, Partner Programs and advisory teams to share results, mine for ideas and gather event feedback.
Mentor direct reports and other team members
Mentor a team of three to grow in their various areas of expertise and in developing their careers.
Provide leadership within the Growth department as a whole.
Travel Requirement of 25%
Education/Qualifications
Four-year degree in marketing or related field
7+ years of marketing experience with a focus on events and tradeshows
Experience developing, presenting and discussing strategies with senior management
Strong project management experience
Ability to prioritize work flow and projects
Polished, excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Good problem solving skills, willingness to dig into issues and present possible solutions
