  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar major
  • 2+ years of experience electrical design, testing, and troubleshooting capabilities
  • Familiarity with programming languages like Python, C or C++, MATLAB, etc
Responsibilities
  • Plan and track signal interconnections between components
  • Generate harness schematic drawings in Microsoft Visio or Zuken E3
  • Determine appropriate materials usage (e.g., connectors, backshells, contacts, etc.) and wire treatment (shielding, twisting, etc.) to apply per applicable mission requirements, industry standards
  • Prepare harness assembly instructions to be used by harness assembly technicians
  • Coordinate with harness assembly technicians during assembly process
  • Plan and execute harness test procedures
  • Coordinate with vehicle integration engineers during vehicle build and test
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with launch vehicle harnessing or avionics harnessing
  • Ability to create/revise technical documents
  • Experience with early launch vehicle engineering activities, integration and test, and launch operations
  • Experience with automotive manufacturing or other high-production environments
  • Ability to create detail-oriented designs while not losing sight of the higher-level design needs
  • Must be versatile and able to perform and manage multiple tasks concurrently
