Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar major
- 2+ years of experience electrical design, testing, and troubleshooting capabilities
- Familiarity with programming languages like Python, C or C++, MATLAB, etc
Responsibilities
- Plan and track signal interconnections between components
- Generate harness schematic drawings in Microsoft Visio or Zuken E3
- Determine appropriate materials usage (e.g., connectors, backshells, contacts, etc.) and wire treatment (shielding, twisting, etc.) to apply per applicable mission requirements, industry standards
- Prepare harness assembly instructions to be used by harness assembly technicians
- Coordinate with harness assembly technicians during assembly process
- Plan and execute harness test procedures
- Coordinate with vehicle integration engineers during vehicle build and test
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with launch vehicle harnessing or avionics harnessing
- Ability to create/revise technical documents
- Experience with early launch vehicle engineering activities, integration and test, and launch operations
- Experience with automotive manufacturing or other high-production environments
- Ability to create detail-oriented designs while not losing sight of the higher-level design needs
- Must be versatile and able to perform and manage multiple tasks concurrently
