  • 15+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, or 13+ years of experience with a Master’s Degree, or 11+ years of experience with a Ph.D.
  • 15+ years of experience in GPU verification or related semiconductor role.
  • Proficiency in SystemVerilog, UVM, and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl).
  • Strong understanding of GPU architecture, graphics pipelines, and parallel processing.
  • Experience with industry-standard verification tools and methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
Responsibilities
  • drive the verification efforts of Samsung’s advanced GPU design to deliver market-leading standards of quality and reliability.
  • lead the development of comprehensive verification strategies and methodologies.
  • lead and develop verification plans based on Samsung’s GPU architecture specifications and design requirements.
  • define verification strategies, methodologies, and metrics to ensure thorough validation of the GPU functionality.
  • lead the development of advanced verification environments and testbenches using SystemVerilog and UVM (Universal Verification Methodology).
  • implement constrained random testing, coverage-driven verification, and assertion-based verification techniques.
  • create complex test scenarios and test cases to validate GPU features, performance, and functionality.
  • drive cross-functional collaboration with design and software teams to analyze failures and implement corrective actions.
  • implement automation scripts and tools to streamline verification processes, improve efficiency, and reduce time-to-market.
  • drive teams to work towards verification closure by achieving coverage goals (functional coverage, code coverage, etc.) and sign-off criteria.
  • generate comprehensive verification reports and documentation.
