Requirements
  • Strong physical capability to lift, push and pull objects up to 50 pounds (23 kilograms) with the ability to bend and kneel
  • Literacy in reading, writing and basic mathematics
  • Flexibility to work night, weekend and holiday shifts
  • Compliance with local laws on food handling and serving alcohol, being above the minimum age requirement and fluent in the local language
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills; articulate, warm, welcoming and easy to talk to
Responsibilities
  • Make each meal a feast for the eyes and treat for the taste buds by delivering high-standard meals with signature flair
  • Own your kitchen by keeping on top of supplies and equipment and minimising waste
  • Inform supervisor or duty manager about any unsafe equipment, low supplies or safety incidents
  • Help create a safe space by following safety procedures and wearing necessary protective equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness to meet or exceed local hygiene laws
  • Assist with washing up and other kitchen duties when needed
  • Enhance guest experience by answering queries or providing advice
  • Wear the uniform with pride
  • Take on ad-hoc duties as required by the team
