Responsibilities
  • Exposed to all human resources procedures and assists with tasks throughout all areas of the HR department.
  • Use HRIS system, payroll system and other HR related automated systems.
  • Assists employees with employment, payroll, insurance and other related questions.
  • May provide front office coverage, directing incoming calls and visitors to the appropriate departments.
  • Performs a variety of HR administrative functions.
  • Assist with recruiting, interviewing and hiring
  • Help with new hire orientation and onboarding
  • Processes employment paperwork/ issues security badges/ and maintains active employee files.
  • Verifies I-9 documentation
  • Aides benefit enrollment for eligible employees.
  • Aides in company wide communication of information.
  • Maintain strong working relationship with all departments
  • Assists with special projects and employee engagement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
  • Education: Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred or High School Diploma or GED (required)
  • Minimum 2+ years experience with new hiring and onboarding preferred
  • Experience with interviewing and recruiting, preferred
  • Familiarity with staffing, developing, succession planning
  • Experience with Human Resources reporting
