- license to practice veterinary medicine in the state of New Jersey
- Provide veterinary medical care to patients including wellness visits and sick appointments
- Wellness visits typically last 15-20 minutes and sick appointments 30 minutes
- Perform surgeries (primarily on Mondays with occasional Tuesdays)
- Utilize clinic equipment such as digital X-ray, dental station, and cautery; participate in plans to add a Tonopen
- Support a paper-lite workflow and use technology to streamline patient care
- Communicate with clients and provide education about care
- Collaborate with a 1:1 doctor-to-assistant team and support staff in a growing clinic
