Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Property Manager and 2 years of experience as a Regional Manager in the multifamily housing industry.
  • Ability to inspire trust, foster collaboration, and lead diverse teams with emotional intelligence.
  • Demonstrated budgeting expertise with the ability to read, analyze, and act on profit-and-loss reports.
  • Ability to drive resident satisfaction by understanding, meeting, and exceeding resident needs.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to navigate high-stress situations and resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Strong administrative, time management, and prioritization skills for a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of sales and revenue management and in-depth knowledge of fair housing regulations.
  • Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to perform regular periods of sitting, standing, walking, occasional climbing, extended computer or telephone use, and lifting up to 25 pounds independently.
  • Ability to respond promptly to visual and auditory alarms and work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee a portfolio of communities to ensure operational and financial goals are consistently met.
  • Prepare, review, and approve annual operating budgets for each property in the region.
  • Monitor and control expenses through purchase order approval and strategic vendor management.
  • Conduct monthly financial reviews to address variances and maintain profitability.
  • Recommend and oversee capital improvements to maintain a competitive market position.
  • Conduct regular property visits to assess operations, curb appeal, maintenance, and compliance.
  • Identify and mitigate potential liability concerns.
  • Partner with on-site teams to deliver a high-quality living experience that supports retention and reputation goals.
  • Ensure company policies, procedures, and industry regulations are consistently followed.
  • Support due diligence, acquisitions, and dispositions as needed.
  • Hire, train, and mentor Property and Area Managers.
  • Set clear performance expectations and provide ongoing coaching to drive results.
  • Create an environment that recognizes achievement and promotes growth.
  • Participate in team functions and regional or company activities.
  • Travel approximately 75% to support communities across the regional portfolio.
Desired Qualifications
  • CPM, CAM, RMP, or CMCA certification.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams, SharePoint, and ADP.
  • Experience with Yardi, Entrata, Asana, and EliseAI.
  • Occasional travel for company events or meetings.
