Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience designing, conducting and integrating user research into product strategy and product design decisions
  • Demonstrated technical understanding of the strengths of different research methods
  • Experience working with a product-led, digital organisation
  • Experience prioritizing between multiple projects and making decisions about approaches with pragmatism
  • Knowledge of user-centered design methods
  • A university degree in an analytical discipline or a human-centered discipline (Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, Human Computer Interaction, Interaction or Experience Design)
Responsibilities
  • Lead mixed method research projects from end-to-end: frame research questions, design and select methodologies, conduct fieldwork and synthesis
  • Select methods from a broad range of research tools
  • Run the continuous discovery program: support the Research team, Product Managers and Designers in running regular customer interviews
  • Consult on evaluative studies: support Designers in running design evaluation research and applying insights to the design thinking process
  • Drive action from insights: build relationships with key stakeholders; presenting your research in a variety of compelling artifacts/mediums
  • Contribute to building our research practice: streamline, develop and document new processes, educational content and continually learn about new approaches in our industry
  • Support research prioritization: work alongside the Research Lead to identify upcoming initiatives
