Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience leading Manufacturing, Sourcing, Supply Chain, Services, Digital, Commercial or P&L
  • Experience successfully driving change and transformation
  • Knowledge of and experience in applying lean in a variety of transactional and shop floor situations
Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute lean transformation strategy across the TAVS part family.
  • Build lean capability in high performing leadership team, providing guidance and mentorship to part family GM, plant leaders and staff, and in-plant FLIGHT DECK practitioners.
  • Train and educate employees at all levels in lean principles and tools.
  • Activate fundamental tools such as Value Stream Management, Problem Solving / Action Planning, Visual Daily Management, Standard Work, 5S, Operating Cadences, Kanban Systems, Production Preparation Process, Pull Systems, etc.
  • Collaborating with larger FLIGHT DECK community to promote kaizen mindset, skillset, toolset across GE Aerospace.
  • Ability to coach part family GM on FLIGHT DECK fundamentals including execution of policy deployment.
  • Identifying and prioritize opportunities for eliminate waste, create flow, improve processes, and reduce cost through the organization.
  • Actively participate in TAVS operating cadences. Engage in effective team problem solving to deliver year over year KPI performance. Advise and counsel staff related to issues impacting SQDC.
  • Demonstrate leadership in communicating business goals, programs, and at the multiple levels in the organization.
  • Collaborate to develop and execute TAVS part family growth strategy.
