Proven experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or similar role, delivering value to meet customers' business requirements
Experience leveraging ML libraries and tools such as HuggingFace, OpenAI, Comprehend, etc
Experience building and managing a data pipelines, including ETL/ELT, data delivery, monitoring & data QA
Experience with ML algorithms, predictive models and natural language processing
Hands on experience deploying ML models into production systems
Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Google Cloud
A collaborative attitude and natural curiosity
Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

Partner closely with product, engineering, and business teams to proactively identify opportunities, creating and deploying ML and data solutions to alter the user experience in the Hi Marley platform
Build, extend and deploy ML models using the latest technologies
Work with data and analytics experts to ensure data solutions are available to support our growing product suite and internal analytics needs
Support design, development, and maintenance of our database architecture allowing expanded functionality and improved performance (schema design and expansion/query optimization/index creation/stored procedure creation/etc.)
Design, build, monitor & iterate on scalable data pipelines for ML and analytics applications
Work as part of multidisciplinary teams to scope, develop, and deliver new products and features
Improve internal tools for democratization of our data
Communicate and document solutions and design decisions
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members

Proven experience with modern javascript development (node, typescript is a plus)

We are seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer (Machine Learning) to join the Hi Marley Engineering Team and help us continue to revolutionize collaboration in the Insurance industry by utilizing data and AI to change the conversation. In this role you will collaborate with product, engineering and SMEs to understand the industry and user experience in order to build innovative solutions to complex problems and capture the value of our large existing conversational data sets.

What You’ll Do:

What We’re Looking For:
