Summary

This contract assignment will assist the AMAROK Technical Lead, Applications & Data with the creation of the first version of the AMAROK Data Warehouse.

This is a 6 month renewable contract with the possibility of becoming a permanent position. This role would require occasional travel to our headquarters in Columbia, SC.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Provide primary technical development and support for the AMAROK data warehouse.
• Working with IT, Business Leads, and Subject Matter Experts, create detailed requirements for AMAROK Data Warehouse, beginning with Finance and Sales Subject Areas.
• Assist with design and build of SSAS tabular data model.
• Extract, transform, and load AMAROK data into the SSAS tabular data model.
• Develop key deliverables including dashboards, reports, and analyses in PowerBI and SSAS.

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university, preferably in Computer Science or equivalent technical/engineering field preferred, and 5+ years of industry experience as a SQL Server DBA, Data Engineer, Application Engineer, or related technical role.
• Proven Data Warehouse analysis and design experience
• Hands on and in-depth working experience in Data Warehouse (i.e. SQL Server, SSAS) and Visualization Platforms (i.e., PowerBI, Tableau, QlikView)
• Proven experience with ETL function and tools (i.e. Tray, Talend, MuleSoft)
• Relational Data Design and Management across complex systems
• Strong understanding of Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
• Experience with Custom Application Development a plus
