We’re a team of expert engineers responsible for the development of all test cases and test tools to ensure the functionality and compatibility of our products. We’re involved in the whole testing process from preparing test and diagnostic programs to recommending changes in testing equipment procedures and designing new testing equipment.

What you’ll achieve
In this role you will be responsible for partnership with peer hardware & system Architecture teams regarding the Validation strategy and key focus areas for our Client PC division.  You will participate in the architecture and definition activities associated with methods for validating hardware PC systems and broader solutions and influence the downstream global Validation execution teams. This will include activities like identifying needs for new/different test and diagnostic programs, fixtures, and tools, and helping the Validation execution team identify labor, schedules, equipment, and software required for validating and evaluating our new and innovative solutions.

Essential Requirements
• Extensive knowledge of PC hardware architecture, design, subsystem components

• Extensive experience with PC and/or PC ecosystem Validation principles

• 10+ years in large-scale technical corporation

• BS in Engineering (Hardware focus ideal -- ME, EE, Thermal, etc.)

Desirable Requirements

• Significant experience in PC ODM or PC OEM corporations (ex: HP, Lenovo, Asus, Compal, Foxconn, etc.)

• Significant experience in PC Technology corporations (ex: Microsoft, Intel, AMD, etc.)

Compensation

Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this position is $153k - $198k.
