LiveKit, a voice AI platform based in San Jose, CA, raised $45 million in Series B funding at a $345 million valuation. The round was led by Altimeter Capital with participation from Redpoint Ventures and Hanabi Capital. This brings their total capital raised to $83 million. The funds will be used to expand operations and development efforts. LiveKit recently launched ChatGPT Voice Mode with OpenAI and supports over 100,000 developers with its LiveKit Cloud infrastructure.
LiveKit has launched the Agents 1.0 release candidate, allowing users to easily integrate Python or Node.js programs as real-time participants in LiveKit rooms.
When LiveKit Agents originally introduced LiveKit Cloud, LiveKit Agents also launched a realtime analytics and telemetry product to give you insights into how your users interacted with your LiveKit applications.
