Requirements
  • Currently active TS/SCI clearance and ability to maintain active clearance.
  • Must have experience working with Customer Enterprise Network; 9 years minimum experience.
  • Must understand Customer security standards and approval process.
  • Must be familiar with Type 1 encryption devices utilized by the Customer.
  • Must have deep understanding of Cisco Configuration, Routing, Switching, and network architecture planning.
  • Must have Ability to configure and manage Cisco ASA appliances and VPN’s
  • Must have knowledge of remote administration and secure Virtual Private Networking.
  • Must understand commercial encryption standards and their application in IP networking.
  • Must have knowledge of VPN technologies, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, IP Multicasting
  • Strong understanding of VBA coding
  • Experience with Cisco Unified Communications Manager Express System - configuration
  • Experience with Cisco Video Conferencing Solutions (all solutions) - deployment and configuration
  • Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP Networking
  • Experience with VPN technologies and protocols including IPSEC, IKEV1/ IKEV2, PSK Authentication
  • Must have strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Relevant experience designing communications systems.
  • Excellent analysis and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as within small and large groups.
  • Capable of preparing and presenting briefings
  • Experience with Microsoft Office product line, including Microsoft Access
  • Experience with Lotus Notes
  • Certifications such as CCNP, CCNA, CCIE, MCSE
  • A current diplomatic passport and willingness to travel.
Responsibilities
  • Provide technical subject matter expertise in the field of network engineering.
  • Support telecommunication systems in field operations overseas.
  • Impact design and feature enhancements to keep systems running smoothly.
  • Ensure network operations are safe and efficient by monitoring network performance, coordinating planned maintenance, adjusting hardware components, making logical configuration changes, and responding to network connectivity issues.
  • Develop scripts for use with new deployments as well as recapitalization and upgrades throughout the network.
  • Create and update network documentation using Visio and technical drawings.
