HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT:
Responsible for working with the marketing team to develop and execute compelling email, SMS and app push programs to drive site and store traffic. This role typically reports into the Manager, Customer Communications and is responsible for coming on-site 4 days a week.
Campaign Execution – 40%
- Own execution of manual and automated email, SMS and app push campaigns within Salesforce Marketing Cloud & Attentive Mobile platform, including:
- Quality assurance and change management for 20-25 email/mobile campaigns/week
- Audience assignment and filter creation
- Deployment scheduling
- Testing execution
- Campaign monitoring, including matching deployment reporting to planned audience size and deliverability
Collaboration – 30%
- Collaborate with MarTech partners ensure email technology is implemented correctly and functions within typical campaign cadence
- Collaborate with marketing partners to support new initiatives and innovation within email & mobile campaigns, own necessary steps for execution
- Support updates providing guidelines and status updates to key partners
- Able to collaborate quickly and effectively to support business needs
Project Management– 20%
- Coordinate with cross-functional partners to gather assets and requirements for 20-25 campaigns per week, with emphasis on automated journeys
- Track assigned email & mobile campaigns throughout the development process via Jira
- Along with Customer Communications manager, escalate and address campaign risks
Innovation– 10%
- Maintain understanding of competitor programs. Review macro retail trends as well as YOY competitor programs and promotional changes; understand potential impact to CRI and make appropriate recommendations

- Passion for the marketing industry and its best practices
- Enrollment in a Bachelor/Master’s degree program at the time of the internship (certificate programs are not eligible)
- Availability to start on the designated start date in May
- Availability to work for a minimum of 10 out of the 11 weeks of the defined internship period which runs from May-August
Preferred skills and experience:
- Working toward a college degree, preferably in a related field (e.g., English, Marketing/Communications, or Public Relations)
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (3.2 strongly preferred)
- Previous internship or related experience in marketing or communications is a plus
