Requirements
  • One to three years of automotive technician experience is preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair used vehicles efficiently and accurately.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns and complete repairs to dealership standards.
  • Communicate with the parts department to secure needed parts and keep repair work moving efficiently.
  • Save and tag warranty or customer-requested parts as required.
  • Inspect assigned vehicles and recommend additional safety or service work when needed.
  • Communicate promptly with the service advisor regarding additional work, changes in repair needs, or delays in completion time.
  • Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
  • Road test vehicles as needed to confirm concerns and verify completed repairs.
  • Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs, schools, and events.
  • Support team productivity and assist other technicians as needed.
  • Keep customer vehicles clean and notify the service advisor immediately of any change in vehicle appearance or condition.
  • Follow all federal, state, and local regulations, including hazardous waste disposal and OSHA Right-to-Know requirements.
  • Operate all tools and equipment safely.
  • Report safety issues immediately to management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
