Requirements

  • Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism.
  • Candidates must be eligible for medical licensure in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
  • Candidates must demonstrate excellence in clinical care and teaching.
  • Candidates must provide evidence of scholarly productivity.
Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and oversight for all clinical, educational, and research activities within the Division.
  • Recruit, mentor, and support faculty, trainees, and staff.
  • Expand high-quality, patient-centered endocrine services across the health system.
  • Promote a culture of scholarship and strengthen funded research programs.
  • Support and advance the Endocrinology Fellowship Program and contribute to medical student and resident education.
  • Collaborate with department, school, and health system leadership to grow multidisciplinary programs.
Desired Qualifications
  • Candidates for senior academic ranks should have a track record of academic leadership and extramural funding.
