Job Summary
The Director of Business Development for our faith-based solution is responsible for driving growth through new client acquisition and expansion of existing accounts in the synagogue market. This key position reports directly to the VP of Business Development and plays a crucial role in Togetherwork’s success.
Responsibilities:
Business Development
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the synagogue market
- Develop and execute strategies to expand services with existing clients
- Maintain an active pipeline of prospects and provide weekly updates to management
- Analyze markets and identify potential clients, focusing on decision-makers
Sales Process
- Qualify leads and evaluate their potential quickly and accurately
- Develop and negotiate contracts, aligning them with business operations
- Create and deliver tailored presentations that highlight Kesef’s unique value proposition
- Apply industry expertise to make appropriate recommendations based on client’s needs and goals
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and prospects
- Provide ongoing support, information, and guidance to clients
- Stay informed about changes in client organizations and recommend service improvements
Market Intelligence
- Monitor competition by gathering marketplace information on pricing, products, and trends
- Identify and recommend marketing initiatives for lead generation
- Contribute to positioning Togetherwork as a thought leader in the synagogue software industry
Qualifications:
- Minimum two years of successful sales experience in software sales or two years of operations experience in a synagogue overseeing AR/AP
- Strong understanding of synagogue operations (very important)
- Experience in carrying and meeting sales quotas
- High-level understanding of AP/AR and general ledger concepts
- Proficiency with Salesforce CRM (mandatory)
- Travel required: Domestic travel monthly on average, plus local travel within the home-based region

Salary Range Disclosure
The base range represents the low and high end of the Togetherwork salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on factors including, but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Togetherwork’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include discretionary bonuses, long term incentives, a flexible paid vacation/personal time policy, 6 weeks paid parental leave and more.
Salary Range
US Remote: $70K plus $70K commission
