Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline.
  • Engineer-in-Training certification is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, for documentation and reporting.
  • The ability to build and maintain effective relationships with managers, team members, and clients.
  • Organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple priorities efficiently.
  • A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to project sites as needed.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct specialized inspections and field evaluations, including soils, concrete, masonry, and steel material testing.
  • Perform geotechnical investigations, including test boring and test pit observations, supported by laboratory analysis and accurate geotechnical calculations.
  • Collaborate with Senior Professional Engineers to execute field and technical tasks.
  • Prepare detailed engineering studies and comprehensive reports that meet project and regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate and manage projects related to Special Inspections and Construction Materials Testing, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
  • Implement Quality Assurance protocols while adhering to technical standards, codes, and best practices in field and laboratory settings.
  • Pursue professional growth through continuing education and maintain current certifications.
