The Financial Systems Manager oversees the administration and reconciliation of data feeds into Workday. This position involves participating in the implementation of time-sensitive and complex financial projects. Attention to detail and a thorough knowledge of complex financial systems are essential for this role.
Key Accountabilities/Deliverables
Oversee system reconciliations to confirm data feeds are accurate and complete, and handle error corrections when necessary.
Serve as the intermediary between Finance users and the Workday configuration team, providing recommendations and solutions for business requirements.
Participate in complex, time-sensitive financial projects involving extensive data analysis
Establish and sustain relationships with internal stakeholders
Technical Knowledge and Understanding:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational and analytical skills
Financial systems operation knowledge
The ability to work with and analyze large quantities of data
Ability to prioritize responsibilities and manage time effectively
Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related fields strongly preferred
3+ years of progressive experience in insurance accounting or financial system roles; P&C experience preferred
Prior experience participating in large scale financial system implementations
Prior experience in staff management is preferred
