  • Proficiency in 3D CAD Software (NX preferred)
  • Ability to read Engineering Drawings (with GD&T)
  • Understanding of traditional & non-traditional manufacturing processes
  • Understanding of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) & Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)
  • Understanding of Problem Solving Frameworks (8D, A3, Pareto Analysis, etc.)
  • Experience designing products or manufacturing processes through 1+ internship(s) or full-time work in related fields
  • Student pursuing a graduate/undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Statistics, Mathematics
Responsibilities
  • Conducting DfX discussions with stakeholders
  • Leading planning, budgeting, design, procurement, commissioning & validation of Assembly Lines
  • Developing & maintaining Process Documentation
  • Assisting with training operators
  • Providing technical support for plant operations
  • Establishing requirements for key performance indicators
  • Piloting Continuous Improvement Projects
  • Performing failure analysis and root cause analysis
  • Tracking first pass yield and dwell time of products
  • Conducting discussions on DfX with stakeholders
  • Managing development & implementation of manufacturing processes
  • Assisting with Root Cause Analysis (RCA)/ Corrective Action & Preventive Action (CAPA) Implementation
  • Tracking, reporting & reviewing Supplier Key Performance Indicators
  • Piloting Process Improvement Projects at suppliers
