Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred but not required)
  • 3+ years of network engineering experience
  • Experience with network design, protocols, and network topology
  • Familiarity with Cisco & Meraki, DDI solutions, and Network Security
  • Experience in technological auditing
  • Understanding of network and server security in a healthcare context
  • Relevant certifications: Cisco CCNA, Network+, AWS Solutions Architect, etc.
  • Proficiency in network monitoring, troubleshooting, and communication
  • Proficiency in private and public cloud environments
  • Strong problem-solving skills in healthcare innovation
  • Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical personnel
  • Scripting and automation skills (a plus)
  • Experience with network architecture designing software (e.g. Visio)
  • Proficiency participating in a Change Management process
  • Up to 25% travel may be required as needed to our sites across the United States.
Responsibilities
  • Implement and maintain network architecture emphasizing Cisco, Meraki, Palo Alto, and AWS cloud networking at Hims and Hers Health.
  • Monitor all network systems to verify all are working correctly using a platform like DataDog.
  • Ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of in-house information systems that support core organizational functions at Hims and Hers Health.
  • Troubleshooting inefficiencies and errors with all aspects of our network.
  • Follow standards set in place to deploy networking systems.
  • Maintain Disaster Recovery options for Networks. Technologies may include HA, VRRP, Meraki Warm Spare, database replication for SaaS products.
  • Build and maintain SOPs, best practice and hardening documentation, and other internal reference documentation.
  • Develop, maintain, and own system patching schedules on a predictable cadence.
  • Maintain on-premise and remote connectivity for our Hybrid users by supporting ZTNA solutions, IPSec site-to-site connectivity.
  • Experience with routing and switching protocol principles, SDN-related technologies, WLAN operating principles, and solid network foundation.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align VMs and network architecture with business needs, security standards, and our dynamic telehealth environment.
  • Ensure network stability, performance, and security, supporting uninterrupted healthcare services.
  • Proactively evaluate and implement security measures specific to Hims and Hers Health, safeguarding sensitive data and ensuring compliance.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, adapting to telehealth's unique demands.
  • Participate in on-call rotations, reflecting our commitment to patient well-being.
