Requirements
  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) and a minimum of 2 years of relevant prior experience.
  • Experience in at least one of the following is considered relevant: mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, manufacturing & quality systems or technical supplier management.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Responsibilities
  • Communicate and translate technical data packages to suppliers
  • Conduct supplier engagements related to capability, capacity, opportunity and risk
  • Perform technical evaluations in support of cost and price analysis
  • Manage supplier requests for product and process changes
  • Manage non-conforming products
  • Drive root cause and corrective action
  • Prioritize and execute improvement opportunities
  • Communicate the technical health of our suppliers to stakeholders
  • Support domestic travel as needed (Approx 25%)
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with Manufacturing Engineering in a manufacturing / factory environment is strongly preferred
  • Active DoD clearance
  • Experience with any of the following commodities: CCA/PWB/Flex, Antenna/Power/Networks, Cables/Harnesses/Integrated Assy/Electronic Components, RF, or Optics.
  • Experience performing supplier assessments
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
