Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Industrial Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Construction Management is required.
  • 10–15 years of MEP experience in commercial or industrial construction is required, including experience with projects up to $40 million or more.
  • Hands-on installation experience with HVAC, fire protection, plumbing, medical gases, integrated controls, and specialty systems is required.
  • Experience with healthcare, data centers, food and beverage advanced manufacturing, higher education, high-tech, or institutional building projects is required.
  • Strong technical understanding of HVAC, lighting, alarms, plumbing, medical equipment, controls, and integrated technology systems is required.
  • The role requires coordinating across trades, communicating effectively, and keeping complex systems aligned with the overall project vision.
  • The candidate must be comfortable walking active construction sites in varying weather conditions.
  • The role requires physical activity including climbing, lifting up to 50 pounds, kneeling, crawling, and extended periods of standing or walking.
Responsibilities
  • Support project planning and preconstruction by participating in pre-award interviews and assisting with early design coordination.
  • Review MEP drawings and specifications, identify clashes, and ensure compliance with design standards and constructability.
  • Lead or support multi-trade coordination to ensure systems work together and remain on schedule.
  • Create and update project schedules to help teams stay on track with key MEP milestones.
  • Manage field installation activities and coordinate with subcontractors to align with site operations and overall project goals.
  • Troubleshoot MEP issues in the field and develop practical, efficient solutions.
  • Support commissioning processes by ensuring systems are scheduled, tested, verified, documented, and fully functional at turnover.
  • Conduct quality control inspections, manage punch lists, and follow up on resolution.
  • Build relationships with subcontractors, vendors, owners, engineers, and internal teams.
  • Represent Danis in trade associations and share insights from the field.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with large MEP subcontractors or in roles blending project engineering, estimating, and field execution.
