Responsibilities:

• Develop and conduct meaningful performance appraisals for your respective teams with the ability to identify team member performance strengths as well as areas for improvement
• Manage and coordinate day-to-day operations of all teams and ensure daily balancing of all incoming receivables with cash posted to patient accounts 
• Enrollment of insurances for EDI, ERA, and EFT
• Monitor corrections regarding any financial discrepancies created and outstanding items and exceptions
• Works with insurance verification and financial counseling to ensure professional and accurate communication to our patients and their families. 
• Stays abreast of payor coverage and policy changes and develops communication plan to teams and families regarding any updates
• Provide accurate good faith estimates in accordance with the No Surprises Act
• Help to develop and maintain financial policies and ensure adherence to policies across the organization 
• Ability to run, read, and interpret reporting and drive meaningful changes based on report findings

Requirements:

• Demonstrated ability to implement, drive, and execute on process improvement and projects as determined
• Excellent relationship building skills with aptitude for working collaboratively with cross-functional groups
• A track record of successfully managing teams 
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Must have the ability to read and interpret healthcare related documents such as insurance forms, insurance policies, and EOBs. 
• Previous management and experience leading teams required
• 3 years of healthcare operations experience required, one of which must be tied to insurance verification, medical billing, medical payment posting, or medical financial accounts
