Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree and at least three years of work experience in administrative support services.
  • Consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five years.
  • Ability to use a computer to communicate via email.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and related tools and technology.
  • Strong understanding of federal government business operations and work processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong presentation skills and effective oral and written communication.
  • U.S. citizenship.
  • Eligibility for a Facility Access Authorization, also referred to as an Employment Authorization, from the designated U.S. Government security office.
  • Work products must be thorough, accurate, appropriately documented, and compliant with established criteria.
  • Ability to perform duties competently and professionally while meeting milestones and delivery schedules.
Responsibilities
  • Support program requirements and perform administrative specialist duties, including preparing standard correspondence, reports, and memoranda; maintaining computer-based and paper files; answering and screening calls; and opening and distributing mail.
  • Answer routine inquiries and operate spreadsheet programs, use electronic mail, maintain personal information systems and databases, manage calendars, and perform other semi-automated administrative support tasks.
  • Assist with required data tracking and compliance reporting.
  • Support project teams and program managers and provide daily execution of assigned work functions.
  • Collect, evaluate, and test financial data for recurring departmental processes and reviews; summarize issues and findings clearly and logically.
  • Conduct periodic reconciliation reviews of external interfaces with field offices to identify and correct data gaps, financial discrepancies, and errors.
  • Use a variety of information technology systems to provide multifunctional enterprise services staff support.
  • Provide acquisition support for bureaus across information technology, financial management, human resources, program management, economic analysis, executive support, and administrative support.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with Adobe Acrobat, data analytics tools, and Visio.
  • Ability to quickly learn other business tools and technologies as necessary.
