Requirements
  • At least one year of IT experience or a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Experience gathering IT requirements and documenting business needs.
  • Interest in or experience with human resources information systems and/or Workday technical work.
  • Data entry experience and familiarity with databases.
  • Strong documentation skills for issues, resolutions, process steps, and system changes.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills across technical and nontechnical teams.
  • Strong communication skills across technical and nontechnical teams.
Responsibilities
  • Help translate business strategies and objectives into business requirements for human resources systems.
  • Provide traceability of business requirements to IT solutions and ensure system testing covers existing solution capabilities and future function point requirements.
  • Assist with identifying, verifying, and documenting functional requirements using requirements management methodologies and tools.
  • Provide clear identification of data elements and data mappings or dictionaries where required.
  • Configure Workday business processes to support business needs.
  • Develop and execute system integration testing scenarios and test scripts, and document findings according to team standards.
  • Partner with business and IT stakeholders to manage scope with each release.
Desired Qualifications
  • Background in IT functional and automated testing.
  • Background with IT ticket management systems, understanding user needs, and providing troubleshooting accordingly.
