Requirements
  • A Master’s degree in a clinical discipline is required.
  • Board registration to accrue hours toward licensure in the state where services are provided is required.
  • Experience facilitating therapy with children, teens, and/or young adults is preferred.
  • Cultural competency and a clinical style aligned with the organization’s therapeutic approach are required.
  • The ability to listen attentively and actively, with patience and empathy, and communicate clearly and effectively is required.
  • The ability to remain calm and composed under pressure or when facing change, delays, or unexpected events is required.
Responsibilities
  • Facilitate individual therapy sessions within the organization’s clinical model.
  • Facilitate clinical and experiential group therapy sessions to support healing and connection.
  • Participate in screenings, intakes, orientations, assessments, treatment planning, and discharge planning.
  • Attend trainings and clinical supervision sessions to enhance skills and broaden knowledge.
  • Serve as part of clients’ multidisciplinary treatment teams.
  • Support the team with crisis prevention, intervention, and management as needed.
  • Mentor direct-care staff.
